Further info:
A record player system equipped with an ED servo arm that inherits the technology developed for the QL-Y7 model.
ED (Electro Dynamic) servo tone arm is used in the tone arm section.
This tone arm is equipped with two pairs of coreless linear motors that control movement in both horizontal and vertical directions. The vibration of the arm is converted into an electric signal and fed back to the drive circuit. The linear motor provides torque in the opposite direction to suppress the vibration. This controls the vibration of the ram caused by low-frequency resonance and other disturbance. Moreover, there is no mechanical friction, so there is no fear of loss of sensitivity of the bearing.
In addition, the arm can be adjusted by simply adjusting the volume scale to the same value as the needle pressure. It is also possible to search for the optimum point while recording.
Soft touch operation by switch is adopted for the operation of the arm, and there is no need to touch the arm body except for cartridge replacement and armless locking.
In addition, the non-contact electronic control allows auto return and reject in the middle without placing a burden on the arm or turntable, and manual operation is also possible.
The turntable uses a double servo quartz circuit to increase stability 30 times that of conventional motors. The motor uses a coreless type with extremely low rotational vibration to enable quiet operation with a torque of 1kg-cm.
NR (Non Resonance) head shell has been adopted for the head shell.
The connector part and body of this head shell are processed in one piece, and the whole is rigid NR structure which is tightened from top and bottom with cartridge and finger plate, so the structure is strong against twist and deflection.
The cabinet part uses a solid cabinet, and the legs are equipped with an insulator foot with a height adjustment mechanism.
Also, the surface has a rosewood-like mirror finish.

Manual Belt-Drive Turntable — Vintage Swiss/German Audiophile Classic
Up for sale is the iconic Thorens TD 160 Belt-Drive Turntable in Excellent condition. Widely regarded as one of the most legendary manual turntables ever made, the TD 160 set the benchmark in the 1970s for suspended sub-chassis design—a principle later made famous by Linn Sondek.
Engineered with a heavy 3.2kg non-magnetic platter, a 16-pole synchronous motor, and a three-spring floating chassis, it delivers complete isolation from external motor vibration and footfalls. The result is an impressively quiet noise floor with warm, detailed, and organic analogue playback.
Key Features & Details:
• Floating Sub-Chassis Suspension: The platter and tonearm board are isolated on three damped conical springs, separating playback completely from motor noise and room vibrations.
• Heavyweight Non-Magnetic Platter: Two-piece 12-inch zinc alloy platter weighing 3.2 kg (7 lbs) provides massive inertia for dead-steady rotational stability.
• 16-Pole Synchronous AC Motor: Low-RPM motor with an acceleration clutch on the pulley to prevent belt stretch and deliver smooth speed control.
• Classic Thorens Tonearm: Fitted with the factory-original Thorens TP-16 tonearm, complete with adjustable tracking force and magnetic anti-skate controls.
• Condition: Excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. The suspension is properly balanced, the motor runs whisper-quiet, speed switching between 33 and 45 RPM works smoothly, and the wooden plinth and dust cover present beautifully.
Basic Specifications:
• Drive System: Precision belt drive via 16-pole AC synchronous motor
• Speeds: 33⅓ and 45 RPM (mechanically switched)
• Platter: 12-inch (300mm) non-magnetic zinc alloy, 3.2 kg (7 lbs)
• Wow & Flutter: 0.06% (weighted)
• Rumble: -68dB (weighted)
• Tonearm: Thorens TP-16 gimbal-bearing arm with detachable headshell
